I am probably a study in contradictions. I love nature, but I hate extreme heat and extreme cold. I love photography but prefer not to take pictures of people. I enjoy hiking, camping and fishing, but I’m terrified of snakes. There’s only one thing that’s certain – life is never boring!

I’m married to my wonderful husband who willingly puts up with my idiosyncrasies, and I have two teenage children, who put up with them less willingly. I work for a large oil & gas company. I keep myself occupied with blogging, quilting, photography and housekeeping. I’ve become a bit of a Betty Crocker, June Cleaver and Debbie Barone with a little Maude thrown in for good measure.

I don’t know that I have anything to say that’s interesting to the rest of the world, but I sure do entertain myself here!
